Nov 7, 2011– Miami Pan Am International Flight Academy, an aviation leader in training worldwide, announced today the launching of their new website.

Pan Am representative, Gregory Darrow, Senior Director of Sales & Marketing introduced the new site to a small group of customers and guests at the company’s Miami International Airport headquarters and told the group: “The launch of this new website and the fresh new look and feel…more accurately reflects our company’s commitment to provide the latest and most comprehensive airline training programs, services and capabilities found anywhere.”

Mr. Darrow added: “The company has experienced a significant amount of changes and incredible growth over the last few years and management felt it was time to step up our online presence. New customers have gone to our website in the past to learn more about type ratings, flight attendant training, dispatcher training, ATC training, and there just wasn’t the kind of information we wanted. So we fixed it!”

The new website is found at the companies original web address of http://www.PanAmAcademy.com and includes a more comprehensive menu of services and the latest information on training courses offered, fully interfacing with the company’s large aircraft simulator fleet and Pan Am training locations.

In addition to the new organization of core course information, the newly branded site includes: enhanced customer online payments in a secured portal; Viral social media integration with Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn, and even Blogs connecting visitors to each other and to shared social pages; the latest aviation news in a homepage ticker; a resource and hotel guide for visitors to any of Pan Am’s training centers; and added features to the TSA/VISA application resource pages.

Mr. Darrow concluded: “Clients, especially our national and overseas Airline customers will appreciate the information contained in this new site and find Pan Am capable of just about anything they would need—from crew training or simulator leasing, to aircraft test and delivery/ferry services. We pride ourselves in being capable and flexible to fulfill any request. Our new site testifies to that…”

Pan Am International Flight Academy is one of the largest and most experienced aviation pilot and flight attendant training organizations tracing its training heritage back to the earliest days of flight. The company has over 80 full-flight simulators located in 6 major metropolitan areas throughout the U.S., with additional training centers in Europe and Asia. They offer a complete menu of training programs for individuals, airlines, and governments including the ever popular 737 Type Rating and A320 Type Rating courses. ABC Local 10 News Anchor Laurie Jennings talks about TV Premiere at Pan Am Headquarters October 10, 2011

Oct. 4, 2011– MIAMI  "What a great night for all of us Pan Amers and Pan Am kids!  I have been a news reporter and anchor in South Florida for 13 years, but it took the premiere of the new t.v. series "Pan Am" to bring me to the Pan Am Flight Academy for the first time!  What a perfect setting to share a trip back in time through the new show.

So many donned their original Pan Am uniforms.  I couldn't believe their hats and gloves were still in perfect condition as if they could pass inspection at that moment!  The funniest moment came after the first commercial break in the show.  The scene showed a stewardess popping champagne and stealing a quick sip before placing it in the ice cooler.  A whole group of ladies in the audience just howled in laughter, saying "Oh my gosh!  We used to do that!".

The only thing that would have made the night better, would have been to share it with my step-father, Captain John Harris.  He was chief pilot out of JFK Airport in the early '80s, and he literally showed me the world — Clipper Class!  John passed away a year ago this week after a long battle with prostate cancer, but he leaves me with endless memories of those great coupon books where we could write our own ticket; travelling with fellow Pan Amers who always knew the best places to shop and eat; and dressing up to travel because it was something to be appreciated and respected.

I will always feel blessed to have been a small part of the Pan Am family."
