Pan Am International Flight Academy Provides Boeing 737 NG Maintenance Training for African Airline April 16, 2012

April 27, 2012 — Miami Pan Am International Flight Academy concluded the first Maintenance Training Course provided to 75 TACV- Cabo Verde Airlines maintenance personnel, on the eve of the arrival of this African airline’s first Boeing 737NG.

The 80-hour courses, carried out in accordance with ATA 104 Level II objectives, comprise of three different components: traditional classroom instruction, simulator training, and visits to aircrafts.  This new blended format allows the students to get not only the theoretical aspects of the various maintenance tasks, but also a practical hands-on feel for the controls and operation of the aircraft in all maintenance related aspects.

Pan Am conducts Maintenance Training for Boeing, Airbus, McDonnell Douglas, Canadair, Embrear and Cessna Aircraft including a 160-hour ATA 104 Level III maintenance training on the Boeing 747-400 currently being provided to a major Middle East operator.
