Nov 7, 2011– Miami Pan Am International Flight Academy, an aviation leader in training worldwide, announced today the launching of their new website.

Pan Am representative, Gregory Darrow, Senior Director of Sales & Marketing introduced the new site to a small group of customers and guests at the company’s Miami International Airport headquarters and told the group: “The launch of this new website and the fresh new look and feel…more accurately reflects our company’s commitment to provide the latest and most comprehensive airline training programs, services and capabilities found anywhere.”

Mr. Darrow added: “The company has experienced a significant amount of changes and incredible growth over the last few years and management felt it was time to step up our online presence. New customers have gone to our website in the past to learn more about type ratings, flight attendant training, dispatcher training, ATC training, and there just wasn’t the kind of information we wanted. So we fixed it!”

The new website is found at the companies original web address of http://www.PanAmAcademy.com and includes a more comprehensive menu of services and the latest information on training courses offered, fully interfacing with the company’s large aircraft simulator fleet and Pan Am training locations.

In addition to the new organization of core course information, the newly branded site includes: enhanced customer online payments in a secured portal; Viral social media integration with Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn, and even Blogs connecting visitors to each other and to shared social pages; the latest aviation news in a homepage ticker; a resource and hotel guide for visitors to any of Pan Am’s training centers; and added features to the TSA/VISA application resource pages.

Miami Nov. 2, 2011– Pan Am International Flight Academy is participating as a Gold Sponsor and speaker at the first annual Gulf Aviation Training Event (GATE 2011) being held November 14 and 15 at the Dubai Airport Expo in conjunction with the Dubai Airshow (13-17 Nov) in Dubai, Arab Emirates.

The GATES training event is aimed at key policy-makers in flight training, emphasizing the conference’s critical role in seeking solutions to the region’s demand for flight crew to meet the requirements of Middle East airlines.

Captain Gregory Darrow, Pan Am’s Senior Director of Sales & Marketing will be the guest panelist along with Captain Jacques Drappier, Senior Training Advisor for Airbus S.A.S., addressing the topic: “Overcoming the Challenges in Using Evidence-based Training (EBT)”. Some of the key questions that will be addressed during this forum session are: Will Evidenced-based Training become mandatory; where will EBT fit into regulations; will EBT require additional instructor and evaluator training; and how do FAA and EASA differ with respect to evidence-based training?

as an exhibitor at the European Airline Training Symposium (EATS) Symposium being held November 8-9,  2011 at the Clarion Congress Hotel, Prague, Czech Republic.

The overall theme of EATS 2011 is Integrating Simulation and Operational Evidence to Deliver Aviation Safety, and along with highlighting the Czech Republic’s unique aviation training sector, the conference will also focus on the industry’s current training challenges as it stares at the prospect of enormous growth.
