Flight International On-Line Training Magazine features Pan Am Academy November 29, 2012

Miami Nov. 28, 2012 — Flight International, a global aerospace weekly publication produced in the UK, has recently produced a special interactive on-line “iMagazine” entitled: Aviation Training 2012, offering an in-depth look at current commercial aviation training practices, challenges, and issues facing airlines today.  The interactive publication also highlights Pan Am International Flight Academy, a world leader in training with headquarters in Miami Florida, and is the fourth in a series of specialized interactive magazines the publisher has produced since 2011.
 
Founded in 1909, Flight International is the world's oldest continuously published aviation news magazine with a team of journalists and correspondents around the world. It provides global coverage of aerospace manufacturing and aviation operations in the areas of air transport, business aviation, defense, general aviation and space-flight.

In preparation for this special issue, Flight International’s UK editorial team visited Pan Am’s headquarters earlier this fall to build out the editorial, photograph the historic training center, and  film video content for the feature. These included live training sessions in the ATC Training Center, flight training with Spirit Airlines in a B737-400 full-motion jet simulator, Ground School, and Flight Attendant emergency cabin training regimes. In addition, Captain Gregory Darrow, Senior Director of Sales for Pan Am was interviewed offering his unique perspective of the current global training issues and Pan Am’s training vision moving forward.
